
Mission The mission of Shri Gadge Maharaj Mission Mumbai is to provide educational opportunities and residential support to destitute, orphaned, nomadic, tribal, and economically weaker children from rural and backward areas. The organization aims for the all-round development of underprivileged children through education, shelter, cultural activities, sports, discipline, and social awareness. Description Shri Gadge Maharaj Mission Mumbai was established in 1952 with the vision of supporting poor and neglected children. Later, an Ashram School was established at Yelewadi, Satara district, on 10 October 1996 under the guidance of Shri Shivajirao Mahanwar and other supporters. The organization runs: * Primary Ashram School * Central S.C. School at Bijwadi * Boys’ Children’s Home * Girls’ Children’s Home * Girls’ Daycare Unit These institutions provide: * Free education and accommodation * Food, uniforms, books, and medical facilities * Sports, computer training, music, bhajans, cultural programs, and self-defense training * Guidance for scholarships and competitive exams * Care and rehabilitation for orphaned and abandoned children The organization works to bring neglected children into mainstream society and help them become educated, self-reliant, and socially responsible citizens.
